Lumberjack was born in 1979 when an enterprising artisan of Verona traveled to north America and was awestruck
by the untamed nature of these unique places with endless expanses of wilderness and parks, immense crystalline lakes and marvelous maple forests. 

On his return to Italy, he decided to transfer that spirit and aesthetic to a brand inspired by the footwear of the Canadian rangers, the guardians of such beauty, with a double maple leaf as the brand logo.
